The assumption made is that corporate free speech is biased by definition since it is completely focused on increasing short-term profit. But I don’t see why this must be the case. In fact, there are a growing number of counterexamples to that thesis. Indeed, they would seem to represent the very essence of corporate social responsibility.
Your workers will judge you by the way you treat them. If they can trust you to keep your promises, odds are good they’ll respond in kind. Employees who trust their bosses to be honest and fair make better workers and inspire greater customer satisfaction and loyalty. Look to your own ethics and your company will be more likely to prosper.
